May 19th: Cruising Yangtze, Yichang

Early rise again, we have a plane to catch.
We charge of to the domestic airport and catch a flight to Yichang.
This town in the centre of China has a population of 4.06 million (2010), yes towns with a greater population than the population of our major cities.
On the outskirts of the city is the Yangtze river and it is here we board our boat "Victoria Jenna" for our river cruise.

Next morning, bed was made when we arrived.

The views from the boat even though it is still docked are spectacular so looking forward to this cruise. There are just over 300 people on the boat, interestingly most were Chinese. It has only been recent the government has allowed people to freely leave their own province to see their own country.
So tomorrow morning we set sail
